## Sub-processors FAQ

**What is a sub-processor?**

A third party that processes customer data on our behalf in order to deliver part of the service - hosting, email delivery, image generation, monitoring and the like. Each one on this page is listed with the service it provides, the region it hosts in, and the mechanism that covers transfers of personal data out of the EU and the UK.

**Which document governs this list?**

The Data Processing Addendum. This page replaces the “Sub-processor’s Page” referred to in section 5.2 of that addendum, and the addendum governs how changes to the list are handled.

**What does SCC mean in the table?**

Standard Contractual Clauses: the clauses approved by the European Commission and the UK authorities for transferring personal data to a country without an adequacy decision. Where a row names an adequacy decision instead, the transfer relies on that decision rather than on the clauses.

**Where is render.ai customer data processed?**

In the regions named in the table. Most sub-processors host in the United States, uploaded files are stored in the European Union, and monday.com Ltd. subsidiaries provide customer support and services from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Poland, Brazil, Singapore and Japan.
